Kelsey Swanson is one of the main cast members on The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, and her life looks like the definition of luxury at first glance. But beneath the surface, her love life is far from traditional.
In the series premiere, Swanson explained that her much older, rich boyfriend allows her to live a comfortable lifestyle in his mansion. “I live a life of luxury and I’ve been lucky to be a lady of leisure for 10 years now,” she said. “Living in a 16,000-sq. foot home, the house literally has everything I need. Four kitchens, 79 TVs, the closet, best part. We have to stay in a different zip code just to get to the bedroom.”
The reality star has kept his identity a secret on the show, but that hasn’t stopped fans from seemingly figuring out who he is.

Swanson’s mystery man’s face has been blurred out on RHORI, but The Tab reported that she’s allegedly dating a man named John Caprio. The two were seen in photos together on Instagram via the Caprio Residence account.
As for why she’s refrained from revealing her boyfriend’s name or showing his face on the show, Swanson explained in the debut episode that his family is “probably one of the most prominent families in the state of Rhode Island.”

Who is John Caprio?
John is the son of the late Frank Caprio, the former chief judge of the Providence municipal court and star of the syndicated courtroom series Caught in Providence. He is reportedly a lawyer at the family law firm, Caprio and Caprio, and is allegedly involved in real estate investment. He seemingly has properties across the country, including Florida — which is where his other girlfriend lives.
Swanson revealed this on the show, saying her relationship with John is “very unorthodox.” She continued, “This man dates multiple people. For the first half of the year, my man is in Miami and, when he’s in Miami, he’s with somebody else.”
She also spoke about him on Watch What Happens Live, claiming that he’s “the biggest Housewives fan.”
“He’s a reality TV junkie. Hardcore. He knows every season,” she said. “He knows what season Erika Jayne’s husband [Thomas Girardi] went to jail. He knows everything, and he loves it.”
In the show’s premiere, rumors started swirling that Swanson might be a polygamist or possibly had another boyfriend. By episode 3, she officially introduced her second man, William “Bill” L’Europa.
“It seems like the hot topic is who I’m dating, especially the other man that all these girls love to talk about,” Swanson said in a confessional. “With my boyfriend, we’ve always kind of had a ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ relationship. But I do know that he’s not being loyal to me. And if you can do it, why can’t I?”
Swanson and Bill “grew up together,” as she told BravoTV.com. “I’ve known him since the 7th grade, and he was actually one of my first crushes. We kind of saw each other here and there in high school but always had different friend groups. Eventually, we connected a couple years ago and kind of stayed connected ever since.”
She continued, “He’s very, very generous and kind and sweet — and probably loves me more than anyone I’ve ever met in my life, other than my parents.”
